Webflow Project FAQ for Marketing Teams
Direct answers to common questions on SEO, integrations, accessibility, localization, migrations, timelines, and ownership for Webflow builds.
Short answers to the most common buying and planning questions.
Platform and SEO
- Is Webflow good for SEO and performance?
- Yes—Webflow gives control over metadata, indexing rules, redirects, and schema, and it can meet Core Web Vitals targets with solid implementation.
- Can we manage redirects and page-level SEO?
- Yes—301s, canonicals, and per-page meta/OG settings are supported. CMS fields can power dynamic SEO.
Accessibility
- Will our site meet accessibility best practices?
- Accessibility isn’t automatic, but I build with semantic HTML, focus states, contrast, and keyboard operability, using a documented checklist and audits.
Localization
- Can we support multiple languages and localized SEO?
- Yes—Webflow Localization supports locales, localized content/styles, localized slugs, and page-level SEO/OG per locale.
Integrations and data
- Can you integrate with HubSpot/Marketo, Airtable, or custom APIs?
- Yes—forms, tracking, CRM workflows, and data syncs are scoped per requirement. I’ll validate authentication, rate limits, and field mapping.
Workflows and ownership
- What assets do you need to start?
- Brand files, copy or content sources, site references, analytics access, and key contacts for approvals.
- Who owns the site?
- You do. I collaborate in your Webflow workspace and transfer any required assets at launch.
- Can we export code if needed?
- Static HTML/CSS/JS exports are supported. CMS-powered logic is platform-dependent and does not export 1:1.
Migrations
- How do you handle WordPress → Webflow?
- I audit content and taxonomy, map a CMS schema, import via CSV or the WP-to-Webflow app, validate URLs, set 301s, and run SEO parity checks.
Timelines and changes
- How long does a typical project take?
- Most marketing sites complete in ~6–12 weeks. Complexity, content readiness, integrations, and review cycles influence timing.
- How are change requests handled?
- Out-of-scope changes are estimated and scheduled via change order or retainer.
Security and hosting
- How is hosting handled?
- You pay Webflow directly for hosting and features. I recommend a plan based on traffic, CMS, and localization needs.
Post-launch
- Do you provide training and documentation?
- Yes—editor training, short how-to videos, and a site guide are provided. Retainers are available for continued improvements.
If something you need isn’t listed here, I’ll scope it during discovery.
